Goodfellas is the second album from underground Hip Hop duo Show and A.G., formerly known as Showbiz and A.G.. Released three years after their debut Runaway Slave, the album features a darker, grimier sound then their first release. Guest appearances come from Lord Finesse, D-Flow, Party Arty, Wali World, Method Man and Diamond D. The album features the underground hit "Next Level [Nyte Time Mix]", which was produced by DJ Premier and later featured on the movie 8 Mile.

Producer Show, who made numerous rapping appearances on their debut, makes no rhyming appearances on the release.

After trailblazing around the globe numerous times with Gang Starr as a core member of the Gang Starr Foundation, Big Shug, who has appeared on Gang Starr's classics such as 1994's Hard To Earn "F.A.L.A.," 1998's Moment Of Truth "The Militia" and 2003's Gold-certified The Ownerz "Capture" (Militia Pt.3), follow's up his 2007 sophomore LP, Streetchamp, with his latest street savvy endeavor Otherside Of The Game.

In only a few years, producer/emcee Black Milk has quickly developed into one of the few hip hop artists who both carries an accomplished resume and is followed with widely-held optimism about what he can bring as one of the leaders of the modern hip hop movement.

Now 25 years old, Black (born Curtis Cross) earned his stripes both locally in his native Detroit and on a national level from his associations with Slum Village. After getting his first production credit for "What is This" on SV's sophomore album "Trinity" in 2002, he produced much of the popular group's next two albums both individually and as part of the production team BR Gunna, with whom he also released the album "Dirty District, Vol. 2." It wasn't until his self-released debut solo album "Sound of the City" in 2005 did he begin to achieve some notoriety as an emcee, and it was off the strength of the album that he signed his first record deal with Fat Beats Records in 2006.

Upon the release of his "Popular Demand" album in March 2007, Black Milk instantly became one of underground hip hop ambassadors. In addition to becoming a go-to producer for commissioned beats on an independent level (he's placed beats on projects by Kidz in the Hall, Guilty Simpson, Strange Fruit Project, Genius/GZA, and many more), he's also worked with major label artists like Pharoahe Monch, Kardinal Offishall, and Busta Rhymes. He's also since released two albums on his own Music House imprint (Fat Ray's "The Set Up" and "Black Milk presents Caltroit"), produced nearly an entire album for Elzhi from Slum Village ("The Preface"), and produces and rhymes as a member of the group Random Axe (with Sean Price and Guilty Simpson) who have a full length album dropping in first quarter 2009.

His new album "Tronic" shows that Black has grown tremendously as a producer, as he's adopted more live instrumentation and is introducing more complex arrangement than his previous sample-heavy work. He also shows marked improvement as an emcee, and carries most of the album himself with only 3 guest verses on the entire album (from emcee royalty Pharoahe Monch, Royce Da 5'9", and Sean Price). Not even two years removed from his breakthrough release, Black Milk proves on "Tronic" that not only is he growing as an artist, but hip hop music as a genre still has room to grow.

It's been a year since DJ Statik Selektah made sure the world "spelled his name right" and now he's back with his sophomore album, appropriately entitled Stick 2 The Script. As always, Statik steers away from the over-fabricated, ring-tone production that is popular today and backed by a who's who of street-credible, time-tested emcees, comes correct. Mixtapes and mixshow radio programs from NYC to LA are already playing the lead single, "To The Top," which features Cassidy, Saigon and Termanology. Rik Cordero hopped on board to direct the Reservoir Dog-inspired music video which has already received over 100,000 views. Cordero himself has been featured in Hip Hop Connection, Rolling Stone, Vibe, XXL, ect. and has directed videos for major commercial artists including Jay-Z, Nas, and Snoop Dogg. Other stand out tracks include "For the City" which is a New Jack City-inspired song featuring M.O.P. and Jadakiss and finds Statik utilizing a cappella tracks of soulful chanting to create this New York City classic.

Stick 2 The Script encapsulates Statik's East Coast boom-bap production and brings this sound to the South on "Get Out The Way" which features Bun B and UGK-alumnus Cory Mo and to the West Coast on the lowrider anthem "Cali Nights" with appearances by Glasses Malone, Mistah Fab, and Novel. "All 2gether Now" is a powerful reunion of State Property's Freeway, Peedi Crakk, and Young Chris and Consequence gets it on solo with the Kanye West co-signed "Mr. Popularity" which is currently making the rounds online and on mixtapes.

With King Magazine hailing it as "soul sampling boom bap of the highest caliber," the album will undoubtedly be hailed as as a savior of true Hip Hop. With Statik's signature sound, DJ Premier-inspired scratch hooks, and support from big name guests, fans will gladly be "sticking to the scipt."

By 1993, hip-hop was transitioning from an organic form of musical expression into a big business fabricating stars. With many icons from his era either aging or losing their relevance (e.g., Chuck D, Rakim), KRS-ONE dropped a gem of an album that not only navigated the sound of the day but led the charge. Shedding his previous Boogie Down Productions moniker, KRS-One's Return of the Boom Bap is not just an album: it's KRS's call to arms for the return of hard beats and real rap in hip-hop music. The former took many forms, thanks to the recruitment of Gang Starr's DJ Premier, who was hitting his stride as hip-hop's preeminent beat-maker. Primo crafted the classic head-nod rhythm of the title track, the bump of "Outta Here," an autobiographical tale of KRS-One's rise in hip-hop, and the dancehall-inspired riddims of "Black Cop" and "Sound of da Police." Lyrically, KRS-One displayed variety in both style and content, meshing old-school bombast ("Mortal Thought"), consciousness ("Higher Level"), and crafty and conceptual wordplay ("I Can't Wake Up"). At the onset of 2006, Term caught his big break when legendary producer DJ Premier blessed him with one of his signature, scratchladen beats. "Watch How It Go Down" instantly became an underground classic and Termanology appeared on hip-hop's international radar. The conscious hood anthem garnered the earnest MC tons of praise, landing him in The Source's "Unsigned Hype" and XXL's "Show and Prove" columns. Since then, he has quickly climbed the industry ranks with his "Hood Politics" mixtape series and continued collaborations with DJ Premier and other big name producers.
