Gripping vocals, shredding lyrics and grimey but yet soulful and melodic beats are the essence of Endemic's Debut LP, Terminal Illness. Endemic has earned production features on indie LPs from both sides of the Atlantic, also producing a number of tracks on J Ronin's All Elements mixtape series in NYC.

On terminal Illness he presents tracks and collaborations with US underground hip hop legends and up & coming UK artists. With layers of warm strings, harmonious pianos, horns and pounding bass lines fronted by rhymes and flows that blend seamlessly with Endemic's immense production.

The rapping is second to none and the lyrics are delivered in your face with outstanding punch lines and wordplay on each track. The Album brings hardcore raps from the likes of Sean Price, Ruste Juxx, Sav Killz and Timbo King. However also in this melting pot of lyricism are political & spiritual references from Wu Tang Sunz of man legends Killah priest & hell razah.

Equally stepping up to this style from the UK are poets' melanin 9 & Cyrus Malachi, who unify well with the NYC veterans. Though, even with this hardcore style Endemic still manages to merge soulful and deep tracks from the likes of the Wisemen and female MCs Sima Lee, Letia larock & UK's C mone. With 18 different MCs, superb production and great collaborations this LP flows impeccably from start to end.

Here is an album which captures high energy beats and rhymes. This is the music real hip hop heads have been craving for; created by the talent of Nottingham UK's Endemic and his personally picked favourite MCs from NYC & LA to the UK.

Wu-Tang affiliate Killah Priest has teamed up with BallerStatus.com and our in-house artist Tha Advocate to give our readers and his fans an exclusive free download of his brand new street mixtape The Untold Story Of Walter Reed.

The 20+ track release features brand new exclusive freestyles to keep fans' mouths watering while he readies the release of his next full length LP, The Psychic World Of Walter Reed.

"I want to tell the fans at BallerStatus, this is just grass roots Priest, the rapper says. "I'm just coming at you in your face. I'm just giving away gems. I'm the Priest that's just emceeing."

The Untold Story Of Walter Reed is strictly Killah Priest, aside from appearances by his artists Starkim and G/Ciples, both gracing the free mixtape with their own freestyles.

Priest says the new tape ranks up with some of his best mixtapes, but admits it's not his best. However, he makes it clear that the music is a problem regardless.

"As far as mixtapes, it's up there, but not my best. That's soon to come," Killah Priest says. "But, as far as rhyming? It's going to be way better than 99% of the albums out right now. Oh, I forgot it's a drought out here, as far as dope songs go."

So, here's some new Killah to sink your teeth into. The rapper revealed that he will drop a Pt. 2 to this tape just before his album The Psychic World Of Walter Reed hits stores.

Hailing from the Red Hook section of Brooklyn, Hell Razah is best known for his integral role as a member of the late 90's Wu-Tang Clan spin-off group Sunz of Man. Their official debut album, "The Last Shall Be First" n 1998, featured platinum selling artists such as Earth, Wind & Fire, Wyclef Jean of the Fugees, Method Man and O.D.B. and went on to sell an impressive 350,000 units. Hell Razah also appeared on various Wu-Tang lan albums including Ghostface Killah's "Supreme Clientele," Method Man's "Tical 2000," Killah Priest's "Heavy Mental," The Gravediggaz's "The Pick, The Sickle, and The Shovel" and many more.
Never one to rest n his laurels, Hell Razah discovered that his no nonsense style of street knowledge and spiritual wisdom was needed now in hip hop more then ever before. Razah joined forces with like minded MCs Tragedy Khadafi and illah Priest to form the militant supergroup Black Market Militia. He also teamed up with Sunz of Man producer 4th Disciple to record the revolutionary Freedom of Speech in 2004.
Now in 2006, after years of eager nticipation, Hell Razah is set to release his official debut album, "Renaissance Child." Boasting nothing but powerpacked rhymes, Razah easily holds his own alongside heavyweight features such as MF DOOM, Talib weli, Rass Kass, Killah Priest, Tragedy Khadafi and R.A. the Rugged Man. Even the production team enlisted here is first rate with flawless beats from MF DOOM, 4th Disciple, Bronze Nazareth and more. Renaissance Child" is a meaningful and intelligent record which is a breath of fresh air in today's stale era of so-called hip-hop. The Rennaisance has begun.

Over the years, countless Wu-Tang affiliated producers, emcees and collectives have emulated the blueprint laid by the Shaolin progenitors, however very few have achieved both the critical and commercial success of producer/emcee Bronze Nazareth. Now, with the "Thought For Food" 2 CD collection, Bronze further solidifies his widespread reputation as the frontrunning successor to the "new-Wu."

Serving as the creative bedrock for multiple solo and group releases (including The Wisemen and the supergroup Almighty), Bronze is primarily renowned for his contributions to legendary albums from the RZA, GZA/Genius, Killah Priest, Hell Razah, Ras Kass, the infamous Immortal Technique & many more.

With features from GZA, Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa, Killah Priest, Hell Razah, Timbo King, Solomon Childs, Planet Asia, The Wisemen and many more, "Thought For Food Vols. 1 & 2" returns the listener to the essence of the Wu-Tang experience: the rough and rugged yet soulfully poignant aesthetic that continues to serve as the hallmark of the Wu-Tang sound/legacy.

With the recent inclusion of Bronze's beats on GZA's "Pro Tools" LP and Immortal Technique's acclaimed "The 3rd World," Bronze's cache and profile have been growing exponentially. "Thought For Food Vols. 1 & 2" provides an ample taste of what is and what's to come from this underground producer/emcee extraordinaire.

Longtime Wu-Tang Clan affiliate and Brooklyn native, Killah Priest returns with Behind The Stained Glass, the highly anticipated follow up to the 2007 acclaimed The Offering. Priest exudes a natural confidence in his delivery and in the power of his written word that puts him second almost to none among writers in rap. Whether using his abilities to illustrate the darkness of his surroundings, to enlighten the listeners and the youths, or to tell biblical tales, he shines as bright as the sun. This new version of a classic, should in all likelihood satisfy anyone who bought the former, let alone Killah Priest fans looking for another fix. He's in fine form here, holding down his cult status nicely and making sure his legend in hip-hop will continue to grow.

"Black August is a phenomenon, it's not a gimmick. It's my heart spilled out on paper." When it comes to lyrics, few can express the trials and tribulations of the daily grind like Priest can. On the innovative stylings of "When I'm Writing", Killah breaks down his personal form of psychotherapy into a series of mentally charged metaphors, "I write rhymes like I'm doing time/Listen, when I hit the pen I start doing a sentence/ I got the flow locked behind each bar." Later on the conceptually driven "Deja Vu", Priest flips a dramatic storyline of a criminal trapped in a horrific turn of events. And "Robbery" perfectly exemplifies Priest's metaphoric vision as he uses an everyday heist to represent his aim to claim what is rightfully his. Pushing past what's expected of him, "Rain" finds Priest on the come-up, spitting with a Midwestern influenced bounce track alongside Main Flow.

With an arsenal of solid tracks and candid lyrics, Killah Priest is in the best shape of his life. With his freshly inked deal with Recon/Artemis, Priest is determined to make serious moves. "It's about time I had the right promotion behind me. A real team of individuals, that's what this album is all about," declares Priest. "That's why I called it Black August. It's gonna be a terror to some, but to others, it'll be a nice day." With his steadfast devotion to enhancing hip-hop culture, Killah Priest is poised to break some new ground and give the game exactly what it's missing.

Heavy Mental is the debut album of American emcee Killah Priest, an associate of hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan and a member of the group Sunz of Man. It was released on 10 May 1998, on Geffen Records.

The album is resplendent with references to Judeo-Christian-Islamic mythology and theology, drawing parallels to the condition of Black people in the United States to that of the Jewish people during Exodus. A notable track on the CD is B.I.B.L.E. (Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth), which had already appeared on GZA's 1995 Liquid Swords album in a slightly different form. Another is the title track, which features Killah Priest rhyming in a style reminiscent of slam poetry and prominently features a didgeridoo. “One Step,” with its refrain of “Your arms too short to box with God,” reached #84 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop singles chart. Priest released the album through Geffen/MCA Records, which already had a relationship with Wu-Tang Clan. The album peaked at 24 on the Billboard top-200 and at 4 in the Top R&B/Hip Hop charts.

Longtime Wu-Tang affilate Killah Priest along with Army of The Pharaohs core member Chief Kamachi have teamed up to release a full length collabo album entitled "Beautiful Minds" on Good Hands Records. Both rappers are considered two of the top poetry writing MC's in the game, and by joining forces Priest and Kamachi plan to deliver an album that fans of lyricism will love. "Kamachi and I are alike in a lot of ways, and this album is going to turn a lot of heads," says Priest. Kamachi responds with "Working with Priest was like going to the studio with myself. It was second nature working with him. It all just came so naturally." The album features only one track with guest appearances, a rarity these days. West coast mainstays Planet Asia and DJ Rhettmatic lend a hand on the track "Illest". Production on "Beautiful Minds" is handled by Tekneek (Kurupt, Tha Dogg Pound), E. Dan (Reef The Lost Cauze, Kamachi, Wiz Khalifa), C Sik (Dilated Peoples, Strong Arm Steady), Dev Rocka, Diamond Legit, Emonex and more. After Killah Priest's recent success with albums "The Offering" and "Behind the Stained Glass" combined with the success of the latest Army of The Pharaohs album called "Ritual Of Battle" from 2007, which scanned well over 20k, this release is destined to be on every top ten independant Hip Hop list for 2008.

With Pain Language, platinum producer DJ Muggs and visionary West Coast emcee Planet Asia deliver a dark and pummeling brand of hip hop which breathes energy and excitement into each cut. Through his trailblazing work with the legendary group Cypress Hill, DJ Muggs has made it clear that he sets trends rather than follows them. A trend bucker himself, Planet Asia is a natural fit for a collaboration. Together, the pair set out to restore the rule-breaking ethos, and the creative energy to hip hop. The duo has made a rebellious, reflective, and unconventional album which is nontheless classic in feel and execution. Simply put, this is brass knuckle rap.
