KRS-ONE & BUCKSHOT unveil the first song off their highly anticipated album "SURVIVAL SKILLS" in stores August 25th on Duck Down Records.

ROBOT, produced by Havoc of Mobb Deep, is a hard-hitting track that showcases KRS-ONE & BUCKSHOT in true form, highlighting the current auto-tune trend in Hip-Hop and exposing the copy-cat mentality that has rappers hiding behind "the program." Stepping outside the factory that Hip Hop has become, the duo lead the charge in the battle for originality.

The video for ROBOT is being filmed this week by Todd Angkasuwan in Brooklyn, New York with BET providing exclusive behind-the-scenes coverage.

"Survival Skills" has confirmed features from Mary J Blige, Slug, of Atmosphere, Immortal Technique, K'NAAN, Talib Kweli, Sean Price, Naledge of Kidz In The Hall, Smif N Wessun, Rock of Heltah Skeltah and Geo of Blue Scholars.

Production on the album includes tracks from Havoc, of Mobb Deep, 9th Wonder, Black Milk, Marco Polo, Moss, Coptic, KHRYSIS! and Ill Mind

They are rap's first great duo, one that excelled as rappers and producers. They are among the most-sampled rap acts of all time, their tunes having been mined by Jay-Z, DMX, 2Pac and Tha Alkaholiks, among many others. They introduced funk-styled production to rap, paving the way for Dr. Dre's The Chronic. And even though their own rap skill was immense, they are also the best talent scouts in rap history, introducing the likes of Redman, Das EFX and Keith Murray. Then they broke up and reunited to rave reviews. The group is EPMD, undisputed legends in the rap game.

Now, after more than 20 years in the game, EPMD returns with We Mean Business, their first album on their own EP Records and their seventh overall. The new collection is a testament to their Business plan.

"All of our albums have Business in the title," Smith explains. "Now that we're in a new era and the game is changed, we realize that it's different from when we handed in a CD to our first label to being at Def Jam. Erick and I created our own vehicle to be able to drop this album. That's how we came with the title We Mean Business, because we do."

EPMD updates its classic sound and sentiment on "Listen Up," a funk-drenched song complete with a talk box and featuring the one and only Mr. Teddy Riley. Recognizing EPMD's status as pioneers, Sermon acknowledges how important his lyrics are: "Can't talk ignorant/I got some intelligent folks that's digging it."

Those same folks will be digging We Mean Business song "Roc Da Spot," a throwback of sorts to "You Gots To Chill," one of 1988's most acclaimed rap singles. "The beat had that EPMD sound, as far as the claps," Sermon says. "It had a familiarity to it because of the sound and, 20 years later, we've still got that funk coming."

"It's very important for us to stay us," Smith adds. "People want to hear and see EPMD." That's because We Mean Business isn't just an album title for EPMD. It's a mindstate.

Soon The balance will be brought back to the living force we've come to know as Hip Hop. The Soul is the the purest most raw part of any living thing and the lack of these elements have forced people to claim Hip Hop is dying but this couldn't be far enough from the truth. Refreshing New MC , Producer Tag Team of Cymarshall Law ( New Jersey ) & Mr. Joeker ( Hungary ) are presenting to the world an album that could only be defined as Raw, Pure , Original Hip Hop from the Soul in other words what Hip Hop has been missing, the boys are not claiming saviors but some may say otherwise. The Albums's lead single is a mash hit on college radio CONTROL feat. the legendary KRS-ONE! Hip Hop in the Soul is Cymarshall Law's follow up to his 2007 Album Hip Hop in the Flesh which Rawkus Records courted Law for to release the album digitally. Mr. Joeker who is also an MC in a prolific Hungarian Hip Hop group known as Hosok ( Heros ) has won 5 music contests with his amazing production skills. Joeker is a producer who seems limitless in his style and creativity, he has learned from all the great producers from Jay Dilla , DJ Premier, Pete Rock and more but unlike other producers has kept his originality and own style while still paying homage to greats that came before him in a way that is sure to raise many eyebrows of even the pioneers he pays homage too. Many are saying the project is an early contender for Indie Hip Hop Album of the Year. The project is testament to all Hip Hop stands for. Together with Law's uncanny wordplay and lyrical skill it guarantees their first album plenty of playback time all across earth. The Album Hip Hop in The Soul commands attention and is destined to become a favorite of Hip Hop lovers new and old.
