Here is a new joint off of the "Street Communications" mixtape by hosted DJ TKO (of Coast2Coast DJs) coming soon.... This track features some Boston flavor, mixed with a little North Carolina, and a dash of Belgium, to bring you the essence of Hip-Hop with a dark hard-hitting beat and rhymes straight from the heart. Revalation and Mayhem are both part of a crew called EMS with M-Dot and are reppin' MA. There's Praverb reppin' NC all day and then the track is produced by Kenshin of Belgium. And Cuts by DJ Family Tyz, another MassHole. Look for the track to also be featured on Revalation's upcoming mixtape "The Revalation Will Be Televised" coming this summer featuring Sha Stimuli, Praverb, M-Dot, XL, Alias, and more.

A word from Praverb...

"This track was conceived thanks to the lovely instrumental by Rip One. The scratch hook gave me the inspiration to write about etching my own path in this hip hop game. Donny Goines delivered an awesome verse that further solidifies his role in the progression of NY hip hop." - Praverb

Yet another exclusive track sent over by my man Prav, speak on it fam...

"This track was conceived due to my disapproval with the XXL Freshmen 10 article (Mickey, Blu, Wale, B.o.B, and Cory Gunz are definitely dope), I believe that XXL could have highlighted more deserving emcees (Skyzoo, Donny Goines, Drake, Shad K., Elzhi, Joell Ortiz, Joe Budden, Fashawn, Sha Stimuli, Wiz Khalifa, Torae, AC, Reks, Termanology, Nametag, Joe Budden, Pacific Division, and many more). I was fumbling with the idea for about a month and the article is all I needed to pen the lyrics. In the second verse I make a statment NOT a diss towards Asher Roth. The statment suggests if Asher Roth is better than Stimuli and my response is heck no. Asher is a talented emcee who has a lot of potential (he is also not afraid to reveal his background) but Stimuli is a better emcee than Asher and should have been featured over Mr. Roth (in my eyes). Sometimes marketability is the thing that saves or makes an artist more visible than the next. When I wrote the song I did not focus on winning the contest per say but instead I focused on crafting a nice song. Hopefully you will like it as much as I do" - Praverb

Another exclusive track from Praverb, one of the hardest working artists in the underground biz, tell us about the new track Prav...

"Here is another new track that I recorded two weeks ago and it is produced by MA monster Teddy Roxpin. This track was motivated by my experience at the Scribble Jam Pre-Lims, battle lyrics, braggadocio rhymes blah blah blah. I hope you enjoy the track, I want to thank all of you who have supported me from day one, expect collabs with Donny Goines, K. Sparks, and more coming soon." - Praverb

Sup people, Praverb recently sent us a new track he just recorded called Blessed With The Gift which was produced by up-coming hot producer Teddy Roxpin, let my man Praverb take it away...

"This is Praverb and I am hitting you with a track that I recorded yesterday (first time in a long time) during my massive recording session. The track is produced by Teddy Roxpin (MA stand up haha) and the track is a combination of battle lyrics and spiritual aspects. As the listener you will hear a lot of sports references and I hope that you catch most of them. As always if you are feeling the track share it with someone else".

peace and blessings,
Praverb

Praverb was influenced by the innovators of hip hop and continues to deliver hip hop with substance. His music speaks volumes on our society and culture as human beings. He is humble and has confidence in his skills as an artist. He's not trying to be the flashy emcee on TV with superstar status, but rather the well respected emcee. This emcee is the epitome of positive or conscious hip-hop. Fed up with the current state of hip-hop, Praverb continues to deliver knowledge to the masses. This positive emcee has a dedicated fan base due to performing, networking and the internet. He spends his downtime writing poems and recording them.
